Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Courts)

EOIR collects information on every immigration court case in its Case database, and it posts a copy of that database monthly. The database includes a series of linked tables; we post a simplified version of the database, combined into a single table.

TipGetting started with EOIR data

Our EOIR codebook describes each field in the original Case database and documents the steps we have taken to process and simplify the dataset. The original, unprocessed data is available via the EOIR FOIA Library.

We recommend citing these data as “data posted by the Executive Office for Immigration Review, processed by the Deportation Data Project, and analyzed by [your organization].”
