ICE data release: Sep. 2023 to mid-Oct. 2025

Fifth ICE Data Release Under New Administration

Published

December 1, 2025

The Deportation Data Project today released ICE data updated through October 15, 2025.

The data update includes every ICE arrest, detainer request, and book-in to detention between September 1, 2023 and October 15, 2025. This adds about two and a half months of data to the previous release, which ran through July 28, 2025. Unfortunately, this release does not include a table tracking removals or encounters because of potential data errors in those tables. The previous removals and encounters files remain available. The project is seeking more information and corrected versions.

In addition to the original datasets, the project has now added processed versions to the website, along with tools that allow users to filter the data and download subsets.

We are hosting a data webinar on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10am PT / 1pm ET. The webinar, which we hope will be especially useful for new users, will include information about the datasets, a quick tour of resources on our website, and ways in which you can use the data for reporting and advocacy. You can register for the webinar at this link.

Like the previous updates in 2025, the new dataset was obtained through a FOIA lawsuit against ICE brought by the UCLA Center for Immigration Law and Policy, represented by Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein LLP and the Law Office of Amber Qureshi.
